Although tough the Night Needle is NOT indestructible the inner tritium Isotope/Betalight can break and if this happens it will stop glowing. So please understand that if you break the Isotope inside the Night Needle we will NOT give you a refund or a replacement. The tritium Isotope/Betalight inside can be broken if the Night Needler is dropped onto a hard surface or if the Night Needle receives a hard blow. The outer polycarbonate case of the Night Needle is tough and may not show signs of damage even though the Night Needle has received a blow hard enough to cause damage.
Sometimes to the Human Eye no damaged is visible and light will stop emitting, this is not a faulty Night Needle as it is Scientifically impossible for the Isotope/Betalight inside to stop working unless breached or past the time scale of its life.
We sell new Isotopes/Betalights to fit the Night Needle if a breakage happens. (3mm x 11mm) Please let us know if the Isotope is for our Night Needles as we place silicone on both ends of the Isotope to cushion it.
We sell Replacement Needles to fit The Night Needle Bodies if a breakage happens. (fitting needs a 4mm spanner – not supplied) Please contact us.
All our Night Needles are sent First Class Signed for Mail or International Tracked and Signed for Service. The Night Needle is housed inside a Packet to ensure perfect arrival of goods. Sent in a Jiffy mailing bag.
Night Neeldes make a very cost effective way to light its location in the dark. The Night Needles Isotope/Betalight has a 12 years half life span. (Full max power 3.7 GBq sealed non-emissive)

Brightness appears different in certain colours, this is not down to lower power in certain colours but purely down to the nature of the colour. An Ice Green or an Ice Blue we see as a crisp colour whereas an Ice Purple or an Ice Red we see as a duller colour. The Night Needles Isotope/Betalight supplied by us here at Iceatope are classed as full maximum power output for colour and size.
Please remember that colours may look different from screen colour due to the type of photography used
Below is what we believe to be order of brightness.
